Dave started out breeding canaries  over 20 years ago with his father.  Since retirement he has rekindled his love of birds and now breeds canaries as a full time hobby out of his home in Grand Rapids.  Dave's birds are American Singer Canaries and are happy, playful, and incredibly well cared for.  He is so dedicated to watching over his birds that he even uses remote camera's to allow him to check on his baby birds in the middle of the night to make sure none have fallen out of their nests.  The males love to sing and the females are generally quieter.  All of his birds mature to at least 9 months of age before they are ready to go to their new homes.   Young birds are now available year round!
